Flex-Chem Corporation is recognized as a leader in innovative chemical solutions in the oil and gas industry. Flex-Chem Corporation was established in 2002 by Bryce Conway (SWOSU Class of 1995). The corporation maintains operations in Weatherford, Edmond, Ada and Pecos (TX).
“Every dollar of Bryce Conway’s thoughtful gift will go to provide much-needed assistance to our students,” said SWOSU President Randy L. Beutler. “We are so proud of Bryce and of what he and Flex-Chem are accomplishing. It is critical that all of our alumni step up and make their 2017 Giving Tuesday gift in support of our scholarships and to help us beat the Northwestern Rangers!”
Giving Tuesday is an international day of charity. SWOSU is in a competition with Northwestern Oklahoma State University. While the #GivingTuesday campaign is globally recognized on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and with the shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the #GivingTuesday competition between SWOSU and Northwestern is underway and runs until midnight on December 5.
“Southwestern Oklahoma State University was instrumental in my education and experience in growing Flex-Chem into the business it is today,” said Conway, who serves as Flex-Chem’s president. “I choose to give back to SWOSU in hopes of affording current and future students the same opportunities I have had. I hope all alumni, emeriti, and friends will join me in giving back to our alma mater this Giving Tuesday.”
More information, including a special video message from SWOSU President Randy L. Beutler and NWOSU President Janet Cunningham, may be viewed by visiting www.SWOSUGivingTuesday.com. SWOSU is competing against historic rival NWOSU in this year’s Giving Tuesday to see which institution’s alumni, emeriti and friends will make the most private gifts to support student scholarships and grants.
